作为长沙“十八横十六纵”三十四条主干道之一，湘雅路过江通道西起岳麓区岳华路，东接开福区芙蓉中路。线路全长约4.18公里，是长沙第一条双向六车道过江通道，也是湖南迄今直径最大的盾构隧道。过江通道共设置四条匝道，河西河东各设置一对进出匝道。项目建成后，从河西新城驾车到芙蓉中路CBD只需5分钟。（来源：三湘都市报）

As one of the 34 main roads in Changsha's "Eighteen Horizontal and Sixteen Vertical", Xiangya Road Tunnel starts from Yuelu District's Yuehua Road in the west and connects to Furong Middle Road in Kaifu District in the east. The total length of the line is about 4.18 kilometers, which is the first bi-directional six-lane river crossing in Changsha, and also the largest diameter shield tunnel in Hunan so far. A total of four ramps are set up for the river crossing, with a pair of access ramps for each of the west and east sides of the river. Upon completion of the project, it will take only 5 minutes to drive from Hexi New Town to Furongzhong Road CBD.
