世界自然保护联盟绿色名录是全球首个保护区的最佳实践标准，聚焦“良好治理、详实设计规划、有效管理和保护成效”四类主题对自然保护地进行严格的认证，旨在增强和维持自然保护地保护成效，实现生物多样性保护和确保人与自然的可持续发展。此次成功入选表明南山国家公园候选区目前的有效治理、科学管理达到了绿色名录标准的所有要求，为南山国家公园候选区高质量发展奠定了坚实基础。（来源：新湖南）

On October 9, Dr. Grethel Aguilar, Director General,International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), issued a letter congratulating the Nanshan National Park Candidate Area on its official selection to the IUCN Green List.

IUCN Green List is the world's first best practice standard for protected areas. Rigorous certification of nature reserves focusing on four thematic clusters of “good governance, sound design planning, effective management and conservation effectiveness”, which aims to enhance and maintain the conservation effectiveness of nature reserves, to achieve biodiversity conservation and to ensure the sustainable development of human beings and nature. This successful selection indicates that the current effective governance and scientific management of the Nanshan National Park Candidate Area has met all the requirements of the Green List Standard, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the Nanshan National Park Candidate Area.（翻译：万姗姗）
