9月下旬，《湖南省候鸟保护两年行动方案》正式实施，着力解决基础设施薄弱导致候鸟保护能力落后的问题。

根据《方案》，到2025 年底，全省将提质候鸟保护监测站10处，配置智能监测及声音识别等设备；新建或提质候鸟环志站3处，配置卫星跟踪器等鸟类环志设备；提质候鸟疫源疫病监测站10处，配置无人机、监测采样工具及无害化处理等设备；在林业大数据平台开发候鸟主要迁飞通道和栖息地保护监测监管模块1套，初步实现候鸟迁飞越冬的实时监测、可视化展示。（来源：新湖南）
