Liuyang ancient music enjoys the reputation of "the living fossil of Chinese elegant music" and "the ancient ritual of national music in Liuyang". It is listed on the National Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. This video is for the Liuyang Autumn Confucius Ceremony in the year of Wuxu (September 28, 2018, the birthday of Confucius). When the sub-dedication ceremony was held, the officiating officials bowed to Confucius, and the song and dance students performed the Yu Yue Dance to express their reverence and remembrance of Confucius and to promote the traditional Chinese culture.
