作为第三届邵阳旅游发展大会三项预热活动之一，本届六月六山歌节以“一路山歌上南山”为主题，将从8月24日持续到8月28日，活动形式多元丰富，分为山歌节全民秀、线下开放麦、民俗表演+集市三大板块。

六月六山歌节是湖南省四大民俗节庆品牌之一，曾获评“中国优秀当代节庆奖”“纪念改革开放40周年”中国优秀节事奖等殊荣，入选第四批国家公共文化服务体系示范项目。近年来，城步坚持节会搭桥、文化搭台、经济唱戏，已连续成功举办25届六月六山歌节。（来源：新湖南）
