8月10日是七夕节。当晚，沉浸新中式湘剧《聂小倩》在长沙湘江剧场首演。该剧是由湖南省湘剧院出品，以“爱与宿命”为核心主题，重新诠释了聂小倩与宁采臣的经典故事，沉浸式演绎穿越千年的爱恋。

剧目在传统湘剧的基础上，融入了沉浸式戏剧的互动体验，使观众近距离感受角色的情感波动。新中式怪诞美学的舞台设计以及传统与现代音乐的完美融合，为观众带来了一场视听盛宴。

August 10th is Chinese Valentine's Day. That night, the immersive new Chinese opera “Nie Xiaoqian” premiered at the Xiangjiang Theater in Changsha. Produced by Hunan Provincial Xiang Theater, the play takes "love and destiny" as its core theme, reinterprets the classic story of Nie Xiaoqian and Ning Caichen, and immersively interprets the love that crosses the millennium.

The play incorporates the interactive experience of immersive theater on the basis of traditional Xiang opera, allowing the audience to feel the emotional fluctuations of the characters up close and personal. The new Chinese grotesque aesthetics of the stage design and the perfect fusion of traditional and modern music brought an audio-visual feast to the audience.

“This is a contemporary production that blends elements of traditional Xiang Opera with modern immersive theater forms. We don't just want to tell the story of the play, we want the audience to experience and feel the emotional and visceral world of the characters.” According to director Yuan Yeru, she hopes to present a love story on stage that is both ancient and full of new ideas.
